One of the best ways to get better results from Artificial Intelligence tools is to be very descriptive with your conversations (prompts). As humans, we know what we want and how we want to see it, but AI tools don’t have that context. So we have to be very detailed in our descriptions or the results are vague, general and not very useful.
To get some practice and learn (or re-learn) how to be more descriptive, try out Google Art Selfie 2. This is a new version (available for IOS and Android phones) of the classic (can we say classic since the original came out in 2018?) Art Selfie. This tool is a part of Google Arts and Culture and the new version leverages AI to take a selfie of you with your phone and put you in dozens of different styles of art, periods of time, moods, etc. It is fun and easy to do, but provides explanations of the results which include details like time periods, mood, lighting, personas and styles. Adding these extra descriptions to any general AI prompt may give the tool (Chat GPT, Gemini, Adobe Express, etc.) the context it needs to provide better results.
Check out Google Art Selfie 2 as a great way to learn to have better conversations with AI in a fun, easy, creative environment. We will use this tool as a part of our upcoming classes on Tips for Improving Results and AI Literacy
