Regional Support

Our Regional Support service is designed to augment our Full Membership Service package, specifically for small and medium school districts and public libraries, where local support resources are sometimes limited. The program offers scheduled on-site support provided by our highly skilled, yet cost-effective MOREnet technical specialists and is intended to complement and supplement your staff and solutions to aid your organization with local networking and technology activities. We’re currently serving regions of southern and western Missouri.

Initial MOREnet Evaluation

Upon subscription, your MOREnet regional support specialist, backed by additional MOREnet experts, will complete an on-site network, cybersecurity and wireless assessment, providing recommendations for updates or improvements that our regional support specialists will help replace, implement/configure and support.

Immediately Collaborate

Your MOREnet regional support specialist will work with you to coordinate a scheduled on-site routine.  Members subscribe to weekly, recurring half-day blocks of on-site support during regular business hours.

Count on regular updates of administration-approved devices and equipment. From critical patches and security updates to coordinating with vendors for maintenance, MOREnet Regional Support will help to ensure your devices and equipment are updated and maintained.

Your MOREnet regional support specialist, backed by the MOREnet team, is here to empower you, with planning for network capacity, future purchases, connectivity, growth, E-rate eligibility as well as working with your staff to maintain best practices for security and computer use.

Rely on your trusted MOREnet expert to verify and maintain the health of wired and wireless network equipment, as well as recommend, verify and test your network backup/restore solutions to assure they are functioning.

Should problems arise, you can be confident that your MOREnet regional support specialist will help to troubleshoot network connectivity and coordinate repairs and outages to minimize impact and ensure critical services are restored.

This service offers access to seasoned experts for an affordable price and is available to MOREnet members maintaining a Full Membership Service Package for the duration of the subscription. You will be able to realize the highest benefit from the subscription if your organization also utilizes a MOREnet Internet connection.

Expert Support and Management

  • Initial on-site network, cybersecurity and wireless assessment with recommendations for updates or improvements
  • Weekly, recurring half-day blocks of on-site support during regular business hours
  • Verify and maintain health of your buildings’ wired and wireless network equipment
  • Validate and test network backup solutions
  • Maintain user IDs and passwords necessary to access member equipment and applications
  • Troubleshoot and restore network connectivity
  • Coordinate updates, repairs and outages of equipment and services, minimizing impact and ensuring that services are restored as quickly as possible, coordinating with your organizational personnel and service providers if needed

Support for Your Organization

  • Create a plan for spare inventory in case of broken equipment and for future purchases
  • Assist your leadership to ensure LAN capacity planning, connectivity, growth and E-rate eligibility
  • With your organization’s approval, MOREnet can advise and coordinate the implementation of additional solutions on your behalf

Requirements to Subscribe

  • Must actively subscribe to a MOREnet Full Membership Service package.
  • Minimum 13-week subscription commitment.
  • To comply with best practices for networking and cybersecurity as well as cyber risk insurance and MSIP6 requirements, the following solutions must be in place on the member network and active for the duration of the Regional Support subscription:
    • An Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR/MDR) solution to monitor all endpoints.
    • A regular and routine Network Backup solution for all critical systems to support recovery capabilities.
  • Regional Support Program requires a primary point of contact that will collaborate with MOREnet to address and resolve support cases through escalation to the appropriate resource.
  • Members are responsible for all purchasing and/or leasing of all support, licensing and maintenance agreements for all hardware and software.
  • We recommend having a MOREnet Internet connection to enable our specialist to provide the greatest level of connectivity management and support.
